Jeanne Marie Gagnebin de Bons

Gagnebin de Bons studied Philosophy at the University of Geneve (1973). She received her PhD at Universität Heidelberg (Ruprecht-Karls) (1978). Post-doctoral studies at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (1988). Guest Researcher at Universitat Konstanz (1990) , Freie Universität Berlin (1996), Zentrun Fur Literaturforschung (2000) and Ecole Normale Superieure de Paris (2006).

Gagnebin de Bons is currently Professor at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and Livre-docente of Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Her main fields of research are Philosophy, History of Philosophy and Philosophy of History, Walter Benjamin and Critical Theory.
